Home Front Command

Pros: works fast and accurate. Every time we had a siren, I heard it about 1 second earlier than the citywide sirens went off. It's loud and clear. Con: even though I have the alert set to have both the siren and the flashlight go off, I don't get either of those. Instead I get a big visual notification and an alert sound (not the siren sound, instead it's that initial chime that sounds on the radio when an alert interrupts a song). Its too short of an alert sound. Id prefer a prolonged siren.

Unforrtunately, latest update brung multiple inconviences. Especially at driving time it fountains by notifications "Operating in background" about 2-3 times a minute. In case of fitness bracelet in use - it is highly disturbing behavior at driving time! Probably it is related to GPS jamming, but any way. Also notification can't be configured properly - under MIUI14 all 4 notification categories in configuration has the same name ("Home Front Command") therefore - useless.

1. The siren didn't go off during a red alert in Haifa. Moreover, the app is still showing that "there are no alerts". This is despite the fact that I have my region marked as an area of interest. 2. There's no way to disable the "current location" as an area of interest despite GPS being jammed. The app scared me once when I got an alert for a northern town when I was, in fact, in Haifa. It's baffling that Home Front Command still hasn't implemented the native Wireless Emergency Alerts.
